Hugh Williams Recognised for Contributions
CS in Schools co-founder Hugh Williams was recognised twice last week for his contributions to CS in Schools and the tech industry broadly. Last Friday, Williams was elected by his peers as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering. CS in Schools is becoming part of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE). Our 2021 Launch
We’re excited to be expanding CS in Schools nationally. In 2021, we are supporting schools across Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory, in addition to growing our successful Victorian programme. New Year 8 Coding Programme in Testing
More than 3,500 students from 21 schools have studied our Year 7 course. The students have learnt the fundamental of coding in the Python programming language, and created imaginative games as their capstone assignment. Announcing our new industry-focused Year 9 course
CS in Schools is pleased to announce the launch of the new Year 9 elective in partnership with Carsales and Domain. Students will work on solving real-world company challenges, and present their solutions during a company visit.
